The Institute of Latino Art (ILA) invites you to an Artist Reception in Pomona.<\/p>\n
This evening marks the first public presentation of ILA\u2019s inaugural exhibitions, featuring work by <\/span>NSRGNTS Collective (Indigenous artist collective)<\/b> and <\/span>Rub\u00e9n Ortiz Torres (Los Angeles-based artist and curator of the recent Aztl\u00e1n exhibition at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City)<\/b>, with media presentations by <\/span>LaPiztola (Oaxacan artist collective)<\/b> and <\/span>Gustavo Martinez (Los Angeles-based artist)<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Together, these artists represent a range of practices grounded in Indigenous, Chicano, and transnational perspectives, reflecting the depth and complexity of contemporary Latino art.<\/p>\n Guests are invited to experience the work, meet the artists, and connect with the team behind ILA as the space begins its public programming.<\/p>\n Join us to spend time in the space, be part of its beginning, and get to know ILA and the team behind it.<\/p>\n Light music will accompany the evening.<\/p>\n All are welcome.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Institute of Latino Art (ILA) invites you to an Artist Reception in Pomona.
